How to use the tactics board
It is built so you can sketch a play in under a minute, on the touchline or while planning training at home.

Pick a formation
Choose the system and the eleven appear in position. Then drag anyone to match how your team really lines up.

Add the opposition
Switch to «Opponent» and apply their shape: it is drawn facing you, so you can see the matchups and the gaps between lines.

Draw the movement
Runs, passes and dribbles each have their own line — the same ones you would use on the dressing-room board.

Export the play as a PNG and send it to the team chat. The board stays saved in your browser so you can pick it up later.
The coach's three lines
Every movement has its symbol. Once the squad knows them, they read the play without you saying a word.

- Solid line: the player moves without the ball.
- Pass
- Dashed line: the ball travels from one player to another.
- Dribble
- Wavy line: the player carries the ball forward.

Is the tactics board free?
Yes. It is free, asks for no sign-up or card, and you can use it as often as you like. There is no watermark on the image you download either.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes. It is built for touchscreens: drag the markers with your finger and draw the lines just as you would on a computer. Landscape gives you a bigger pitch.
Is my drawing saved?
The board saves automatically in your browser, so if you close the tab and come back it is exactly as you left it. Because it is local storage, it does not sync across devices — that is what the app is for.
Does it work for futsal or 7-a-side?
Yes. Alongside 11-a-side systems it includes 9, 8, 7-a-side and futsal shapes, and you can switch to the half pitch, which is the usual view for set-piece work.
Can I use the drawings with my team?
Yes, with no restrictions. Download the PNG and share it wherever you like: the team chat, a slide for the tactical talk, or printed for the dressing room.
